Would it Be Nuts to Upsize in Retirement?
Post Body
I read post after post of those downsizing as if it's the only way to go. We are in our late 60s. Live in a 2500 sq ft home on 2.5 acres in NY. We are looking to move either down south to NC or Georgia, or out west where one of our children live, northern Idaho in particular. We want a large home on many acres so long as it's in our price range. Is that nuts?
Comments
Stairs are a real problem for people as they get older, you might be the extreme outlier but generally no, no one 'upsizes' in their 60s
