Ok, we've done a few of these and thank you for your thoughtful responses. I love the perspective on your lives and experiences.
I'll go first, 1966 model here. I never expected to live to be 35 years old, not for any particular reason and I had no thoughts or expectations of retirement.
I didn't have a fatalistic view of life and I didn't have a terrible childhood although I grew up lower middle class as the oldest of 5 siblings.
I just imagined not getting to this point. Anyone else feel / not believe you would get here?
