Advice on a lateral move
Post Body

I'm an assistant in a store and the district manager wants to move me to a different one. I have the understanding that if I do, I will start to receive manager training. The catch is I'm moving away from an amazing team that has my back to a team that I would be doing all the work. I've covered shifts at that store before and refused to go back unless it was mandatory due to issues I've had. The store has a lot of theft from customers and employees, no one cares about trying to make bonus or keeping the store clean and they take what ever advantage they can get to do less work. I want the training and promotion, but I'm apprehensive stepping into that store knowing everything is wrong and the manager seems to be untouchable.
