For the last 9 years I have been heavily involved in building other's businesses. I have also owned and built a business of my own as well as consulted on project leadership with larger named companies while owning the afore mentioned business. Currently I am working as a business Development Director at another business I am assisting and am looking to make a slight career move. I would like to get into Management Consulting, where I can share my experience with large and small businesses and help troubled businesses pull out from various types of problems.
I see two issues I am trying to work around. The first issue is that while being an partner/CEO in a business with 5 direct reports and over 25 in-direct reports, I often worked implementation management/training, team and business building as well as worked as a general business consultant for a few large companies. I am not sure how to address that at the same time as being a company CEO. Is that even adviseable?
Also since I am trying to cross over into the Management Consultant field, help with my RESUME. Any help that you can give would be of assistance.
