3YoE, Software Engineer, Several Applications in 'Submitted' Stage Without Updates

I've applied to several engineering positions in the US around ~2 weeks ago. Some of my applications were rejected quickly (in 1-2 days). I have not received any updates on my other applications and they are still in the 'submitted' stage.
Should I be applying for more roles (might do so anyways - I'm just curious about current applications) or is there still a good chance that they will get back to me on some of those applications?
