Changed Careers Less than 5 years ago. How much work history to include on resume?

Post Body
I have read some conflicting things such as that I should show 10 years of work history. I've also read that it's common and accepted to omit some work history. I switched careers in 2020 and I've held the same job since then. My job in my previous career gives me job history back to 2016. Do I need to go back further than that? It doesn't offer any real benefit in terms of skills in my new career and I'm just a couple of years short of the 10 year rule of thumb. What should I do?
