I coded a full stack app that I want to maintain as a side business. Should I list this under work experience or portfolio?

Post Body
So as the title says. I have sunk so much time and effort into this app that I feel like it's been it's own job. I somewhat worry that listing it as just a portfolio project significantly downplays how much I've put into this. But I worry that putting it under work experience may back fire in some other way.
If anyone has been in this boat it would be nice to hear what you did
