Do certifications matter in 2023?

I'm thinking about getting some certifications in UX and Web Design to throw these on my resume.
Is it worth it to get these certifications? Hoping a hiring manager could chime in. Or does it only matter that my future UX/web design skills are actually listed under "skills"
