Hi,
I'm considering starting a food stand to sell pizza. The process is pretty complicated -- I'd need to find places to purchase and store ingredients, prepare food, refrigerate food, prepare and sell pizza, and manage all of the regulations for these things.
I have an idea that might simplify this. I'm considering approaching a local restaurant and asking if they would be interested in partnering with me. I'd pay them either a flat rate, or a percentage of income, if I would be able to use their space. In this partnership, I would order ingredients with the ingredients they order, have access to their kitchen, sell outside of their restaurant, and most regulations will already be managed by the restaurant. The pizza stand would work as a separate business from the restaurant, except that it has a partnership with the restaurant.
I know it wouldn't be simple to find a restaurant interested in this, but if I did, is this feasible? Has it be done before? I've done some research but haven't found anything. Thanks.
