Finally opened my own place (always been a dream of mine) 8 months ago. I think I did a good job anticipating the various challenges I'd face. It's been hard work, but not more than I thought I would be.
One thing I didn't anticipate was the sheer amount of people and companies trying to sell me stuff. From marketing services, to technology, to you name it. I'm solicited multiple times a week by someone somewhere trying to get me to sign up for something or buy something. It's never ending.
I actually feel bad for the providers out there that are trying to offer real value. I instinctively just hang up or say no now because of all the noise. It's insane.
I don't really have a question or anything, just making an observation.
