‼️Restaurant workers! ‼️How should someone tip?

When my wife and I eat out we always tip with cash. Not sure if it’s because that’s how I’ve always gone it or because it’s nice to get rid of the 5’s and 10’s since cards are almost always everyone’s payment option.
Does it matter whether I tip with cash or card?
