Looking for resources on ventilator management
Post Body

Hey r/RT - I hope this is an ok discussion for this sub. I am an RN working in a freestanding ER. We do not have RT on site for vents, ABGs, etc. After a doc orders vent settings, we enter them and do basic troubleshooting then use telemedicine to consult RT at our parent facility. I was wondering if there was any good literature, be it journal articles or textbooks, that you recommend I read to get a better understanding of vent physiology and to work through common vent errors. We are using the LTV-1200 here but any advice is appreciated.

Cheers!
