Advice for new grad
Post Body

Hi, I’m looking for some advice as I am in a tough position. I was offered two positions as a new grad. One is nights and one is days. The day shift is a 20k cut in base salary but after working the numbers it’s only a 10k cut in take home money due to benefits, union dues etc. Benefits are very comparable in quality. I know there is more to it than I could fit in this thread but in short I think I would be happier at the lesser paying hospital. It is smaller, expanding however, but RTs are more integral to the care team (I spent a lot of clinical time there during school). Both jobs will keep me financially secure as well.

Sorry if this post is all over the place but I wanted to know what fellow RTs would consider
