“Rindo-kan karate is the best! Who’s next!”

Makoto is a martial artist who first appeared in Street Fighter III: Third Strike. After inheriting her fathers’ dojo, she aims to restore his reputation and prove the power of the Rindo-kan style by defeating powerful fighters. To this end, she has sent a challenge to every dojo in Japan.

Naturally, Dan Hibiki was the only one to respond.

This thread draws from both the games and Udon comics, which makes it a composite. If you'd rather limit Makoto to original canon feats... she doesn't have any.

Moveset

• Karakusa, full name ‘ Tsurushi Nodowa: Karakusa’, or Hoisting Throat Thrust: Arabesque. Makoto grabs her opponent by the throat, choking them.

• Hayate, full name ‘Tosshin Seikentsuki Hayate’, or Rushing Just Fist Thrust: Squall. Makoto draws her fist back in preparation, before suddenly dashing forwards, fist-first. Preparation time is variable, and the longer she waits before dashing, the more powerful the attack becomes.

• Fukiage, full name ‘Chokujou Seikentsuki Fukiage’, or Above Just Fist Thrust: Blowing Lift. A powerful punch straight up. Certain versions of the attack have her moving forwards first.

• Oroshi, full name ‘Uchi Oroshi Tegatana Oroshi’, or Beating Grater Hand Blade: Mountain Wind. Overhead karate chop.

• Tsurugi, full name ‘Senkuu Kakato Otoshi Tsurugi’ or Flashing Air Heel Drop: Sword. Flying axe kick.

• Tanden Renki, full name ‘Tanden Renki Seme no Kata’, or Dantian Refined Spirit: Form of Offense. Makoto enters a blind rage, turning her skin red and increasing her damage by 25%.

• Seichusen Godanzuki, or Punches at Five Levels Along the Center Line. A series of five rapid punches, starting at the groin and ending with a powerful blow to the face that launches the opponent into the air. In the Street Fighter IV games, this move with Tanden Renki active was the most damaging Ultra Combo of any fighter.

• Abare Tosanami, full name ‘Abare Tosanami Kudaki’, or Rampaging Tosa Wave Shatter. Flying kick from a wall, followed by a knee to the stomach, a spinning kick, and a Fukiage.

Feats

• Uses her Seichusen Godanzuki to punch through Dan Hibiki’s Gadoken, before launching him through the roof and into the distance

• When trapped in a net with four other people, uses Tanden Renki and Hayate to drag the whole net and punch an opponent

• Helps to defeat the Geki Clan

• Punches a student

• Punches another student

• Only person in a crowded cafeteria to notice Ibuki throw a kunai

• Knocks Ibuki down from the ceiling. Note that Ibuki probably wasn’t expecting an attack.

• Does not like hugs

• She’s cool with dancing though
