Back again looking for advice
Post Body

Hey everyone. I was the guy that asked about getting resin off of a machine (it’s a lot) and ended up finding a slight upgrade replacement, for my friend’s printer that he let me borrow. Elegoo Mars 1 to the Elegoo Mars 1 Pro. And my first bottle of resin is the Anycubic Low Odor resin (500mg). Along with an Elegoo wash station and some carbon filters to put in the printer.

Well. I have another issue. It’s currently too cold where I live to be able to print out in the garage as my living arrangement has first requested. I will be renegotiating the terms of where I can place the printer. But I have a few questions.

While the printer has the lid on, do fumes and odor escape that lid and can be smelt? If so, I’ll need to for sure get ventilation going before any printing. If no, then I can maybe get away with quick lid removal, wash, and then dry on the prints for a short time. Of course while keeping protected as much as possible, until funds can be collected.

Secondly, I need a good ventilation/heating situation and not sure what to do or how to go about that. So any advice, videos, threads, products, etc would be nice to have.

I’m feeling impatient because I would like to know if this printer works proper so I can return something of proper condition to my friend rather than his fucked machine. But I will be keeping anything extra I purchase for myself and get myself a printer of my own.
