Help!!! I'm having a very strange issue. I'm new to resin printing and got an Elegoo Saturn 2 on Friday. I've been printing tests with the Elegoo 8k resin and there have been no issues with prints adhering to the build plate, but no matter how i change exposure time, it looks the same.
I started out with cones of calibration with the default setting you can find online (3,5s at 0.05mm) four or the "failure" cones printed, so i figured i must be quite far away from my correct settings and switched to the phrozen XP finder because it's faster and i thought i'd slowely make my way to the ideal exposure and then make a final test with the cones.
3,2 - 2,0s all look exactly the same, 1,5s failed. I read up on the signs of over or underexposure on the phrozen website, but there is no sign of any of that from 3,2 - 2,0. Any one would think at 1, 5s below the recommended exposure time there would be visible differences. I'm good at seeing very subtle differences but there is just nothing to see here. How can this be?!
I mean i have noticed that it does take considerable longer to print that chitubox says it will... (chitubox says it will take 13min and it ends up taking like 18) so maybe it's the printer? I've restarted it before starting the 1,5s print and obviously something happened there.
I think i will no try the 2,0 or 2,5s print again after restarting the printer and if that doesn't do anything, i'll try a different resin.
Does anyone have any idea how to troubleshoot this? Did anyone have simmilar issues at some point? Is my printer broken? Oh god i hope my printer is not broken. It would suck to have to send it back.
Thanks for the help!
