No idea how this happened

I had some extra resin working on a different project, so I decided to pour what was left over into a skull mold. Started first with a bright orange resin and then added in black on top of it. Somehow the orange turned gold and the dispersal is my favorite of anything I've seen. I just have not been able to replicate it. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you!
