How do I start reselling on eBay?

So I just turned 18 and I want to start reselling on eBay like going to Goodwill TJ Maxx Ross or somewhere buying stuff and reselling on eBay but how do I get started on reselling I'm just getting used to eBay right now so I'm not sure how to resell is it just go to Goodwill scan something on eBay and see if it's worth more on there or is there more to it.
