Do endocannabinoid receptors get replaced after (they die fro such use) synthetic cannabis use?

I was busy reading up on what eliquids still contained synths when I can across an article explaining how partial agonists and full agonists work. As far as the endocannabinoid system goes, spice kills the receptor, so I was just wondering if these receptors and permanently gone or do they get replaced (after some rest)?? Anyone?
