Plan for purification of smelly benzos
Post Body

  1. Dissolve in isopropyl (high %)
  2. Filter through a syringe filter
  3. Evaporate the IPA
  4. Put in cold water, put in fridge for 20 mins to crash the solution (recrystallize)
  5. Filter again with a new syringe and syringe filter

Am I missing anything?

Will this work?

The substances in question:

a) n-methyl clonazepam b) clobromazolam aka phenazolam

They have a smell and I'm worried it's because of the left over solvent(s)... It's been tested as pure through FTIR, but I've been informed that wouldn't pick up left over solvents.

I honestly don't think the smell is coming from the benzos but better safe.

Than sorry 🙂🫡🖐️...
