Brief summary of an experience with new dissociative 3-EtO-PCP and initial thoughts

I recently got to sample 3-EtO-PCP, a novel dissociative that as far as I know has not existed yet outside of the literature or been tested by humans. I found a satisfactorily active dose at 100 mg (quite accidentally....), accounting for my tolerance and preference this would be a very strong dose for others- I would say accounting for those factors others may find what they are looking for in the range of 50-70 mg.

Here it is characterized by GCMS:

As for availability all I can say for right now is I hope this will be available to a wider audience some day.

I had titrated up from 1 mg to eventually 30 mg, and had not observed threshold effects even. The jump from 30 to 100 mg was a careless mistake- thank god that this compound was not potent and arylcyclohexylamines are physically forgiving with overshot doses. (this happened because I was reading my notes for another compound with a similar name, that i had titrated up to 50 mg without effects. For my titrations I tend to start at 1 mg or so and double or raise the dose by a quarter until I observe threshold effects, at which point I take smaller incremental doses. Having mixed up my notes, I thought I had taken this one up to 50 mg and ingested 100. Stupid mistake- don't do as I do!)

This ended up being fortuitous however- I found 100 mg to not be overwhelming, but to be pleasant intense.

As for effects and impressions:

This stuff is AWFUL to snort. It doesn't burn at first but it has an awful flavor and irritates the throat. Then, over the course of a few minutes, an excruciating burn sets in. The drip burns the throat on the way down and is nauseatingly flavored. It reminds me of 2C-I or DPT in sensation. Just awful. I still have a bit of a sore throat 2 days later.

Onset was at about 10 minutes, it took about an hour to reach peak effects. Peak lasted for about 2-3 hours. There was a hazy stimulating afterglow that persisted the rest of the night, the experience was about 6-7 hours total.

Headspace was fairly bland and confusing. No real compulsion to do anything. Tried to play videogames but found them confusing and difficult. Same with watching a movie, was hard to follow. Mostly just listened to music There was a pleasant euphoria but also a sort of agitated boredom, like coming down from MXPr. It was physically quite heavy and sedating for a dissociative, though it had an active and stimulating if disjointed mental aspect that lingered after the physical effects faded. It made movement feel difficult and tedious, like DCK can do. My head was racing at times but my body was not keeping up at all. Not particularly visual with eyes opened or closed. If I had to draw comparisons for the headspace I would say it was most similar to 3-HO-PCE or O-PCE. None of that motivated, energetic, underlying manic rush of 3-MeO-PCP or 3-MeO-PCE, just a confused dissociated dullness. I didn't particularly enjoy the experience honestly, but it was interesting for its novelty at least.

I am wary to write it off as being dyphoric or unpleasant- I suspect the experience was clouded by a dose of Bromazepam and Temazepam taken the night before, leaving me depressed and somewhat amnesic still the day after. Eager to revisit it in an oral dose and a better mood. I suspect the pain of ingesting it was a factor too- I wrote off 3-Me-PCiPr as quite dysphoric because I was mostly in pain from snorting it the entire time- a colleague who tried it orally though quite liked it!

I didn't take great notes during this experience and was a bit caught off guard by my mistake and the headspace I was in. I will revisit it again some day under better conditions and write a full detailed report!
