5-APB: Smoking, Mediocre Euphoria, and Poor Reactions
Post Body

Hey all, once again I made an order of some small amounts of obscuresque chems to try, so here's a quick review on 5-apb. I've tried around 200 chems, but none with this base structure. I take meds, but not on the days leading to experimentation.

I initially tried smoking the 5-APB (confirmed by HPLC, originally thought to be 6-APB). I did not have enough to freebase, but it vaped well in a glass bubble incent burner. It seems to need to maintain a decent temperature to stay rolling (it stops giving off vapor easily) and takes a while to get smoking, but it'll go. It does not puddle up, the powder just rolls around until it's hard-to-clean garbage. The taste was actually quite good- sweetish, slightly bitter, and a very similar to many other chems I've had.

I found it to be a very pleasant, albeit underwhelming, experience. "MDA light" is a fair description. There's a small initial rush, but the full comeup takes a minute or two and was kind of exciting/euphoric at first. Unfortunately, it stopped coming up quickly, and the height of the experience was meh, but I still felt much more carefree than sober. I also tried lines, which burned REALLY badly- less stingy but more caustic/burney than meth. Thus insufflation experience was similar, although very weak because I smoked first. I then went back to smoking and had a very pleasant night- slightly stimulated but not tweaked at all, slightly groovy but not ravey, slightly more comfy in my skin but not super horney, etc. Music enhancement okay. Productivity enhancement okay. No effects were substantial enough to warrant special reporting. Luckily, I did not notice any negative effects such as anxiety.

My partner, on the other hand, had a very poor reaction. They smoked one or two hits and became very hot and uncomfortable. They were anxious and uncomfortable in their skin (crawling, squirming, sweating, etc). She did not like it at all and just went to bed. So, this is just a fare warning that everyone is different, and always start small to keep negative reactions to a minimal. Thanks.
