Taking 3mmc orally: any advantage over sniffing it? Any experience to share?

Hey, so, I love doing 3mmc (for raving and long sex sessions), but last time I overdid it and I developed a nasty throat infection, I believe triggered by all the 3mmc that I snorted in 48 hours. In that regard, next time I'd like to take it in capsules, but I wonder if the effect is similar, etc. Any advice or comments? The only thing that pisses me off is that 3mmc kills my dick (no matter how much viagra I take), while I have a friend whose 3mmc makes him able to fuck non-stop for 10 hours. It's crazy how drugs can affect our genitals so differently.
