I found a recipe with jello packet geletine packets and water and they make solidified gummies. But I have to pour the hot mix into the molds before it hardens up and cools off so I am confused when or how to even add my API to the hot mixture without actually burning or just wasting the chemical.

For my API I am using just an ethanol/4-aco-dmt mixture, about 15ml/250mg 4-aco-dmt In attempt to make each gummy bear 5mg 4-aco-dmt.

I thought maybe I can use PG as the solubility is somewhere frlm 10-20mg 4-aco-dmt for 1ml PG, but still I am confused about the heat destroying my precious molecule.

If anyone can help me with the questions and hand and maybe even improving upon that would be greatly appreciated.
