New Rescue Terrier has anxiety in metal crate when we're not there - portable crate better?
Post Body

Hi, our rescue is fine in the crate when we're home during the day and sleeps all night perfectly. But as soon we leave during the day (so far only twice for 1 hr since we got her), she gets really anxious and tries breaking free - constantly biting the wire bars, scratching the bottom and trying to open the door. She's broken out twice so we've had to buy carabiners to secure which has worked, but worried she will hurt herself. Is a portable plastic travel kennel (big enough for her to comfortably sleep in) any better than these metal wire ones to keep her in, because there's less bars to chew? Thanks!
