So I have recently acquired the PVC enclosure I ordered for my ball python and am preparing to shop for the rest of the supplies I need.
However something has left me confused in different shopping/supply guides I have read. I keep seeing Silicone and Sealant used. Sometimes they seem to be used interchangeably and other times they seem to be getting used as separate things. Even looking at like Lowes and stuff the words seem to be used interchangeably.
Do I need to use both silicone and sealant to during assembly of the enclosure? Or is this just a case of people using different words to talk about the same things? If I need to use both, what are some recommendations for each one.
The next question is, on some of the silicones I have looked at they don't list PVC as a material to use it on. Is there special PVC silicone, or is this just a case that the companies just randomly pick some of the most common materials to list as examples?
My last question I just thought of as writing this. I have Rock panels to put on the sides and back of the enclosure. What would I use to stick them to the enclosure walls.
