We're currently doing a renovation to sell and myself and my partner are disagreeing on whether we should do a full lay of the light coloured hybrid timber flooring through the open plan living, dining and kitchen area, or leave out the kitchen which is already tiled. (living and dining is currently carpeted) Laying the hybrid flooring in the kitchen would increase cost by 20% ($500-700 AUD) but leaving them as is would mean that we have about 1 in 5 tiles (out of 40-50 tiles) with cracks through them. If we were keeping the house 100% I'd lay the new floor but the flooring guy who quoted the Supply and lay reckons don't bother since are selling, which by saying so cuts into his commission so I know he's being sincere.
