Remote sensing data archives and processing tools

Hi!
I maintain a processing pipeline in a remote sensing lab which is held together mostly by Cron jobs band aids and bash script chewing gum.
I want to open-source what we have and find ways to collaborate on projects like an orchestration tool for satellite products, seti@home-style citizen-science processing, ipfs-like distributed product hosting, and advanced frontends for researchers to search and request products or processing jobs.
- What does your system run on (if you're doing these things),
- what related projects should I check out, and
- is anyone else here interested in collaborating on development of remote sensing tools?
