In fifteen years of reloading rifle cartridges I have never had this happen. I went to drain some remaining Titegroup (just started doing pistol cartridges) that sat in my (one month old) Franklin Intellidropper for one week and it appears the powder has etched/softened/embedded it self in my machine. Im able to get the powder out of the removable tube alright but I can see pitting in the plastic. I have no idea how I’m going to clean out the rest of the hopper.
What happened? How do I clean this out? Is my machine ruined? Do i seriously have to go back to my lee “perfect” (ha) powder measure after all that waiting?
