I am new to reloading and wonder how many times a hull and case can be reloaded so I can estimate the 'cost' of ammo. I like spreadsheets and I'm trying to explain to my SO that I'll be "saving money" (actually shooting more, but same difference).
Living in CA, ammo can be rather expensive and hard to time. Looking around online, I get a wide spread as to how many times they can be reloaded. Obviously, case inspection is important and there are no hard rules, but would 10 times for premium shotgun hulls and rifle brass and 20 times for handgun brass be a good estimate? Not trying for super-match or crazy hunting loads, but regular practice ammo.
