Why isnāt the statement that āmorality comes from Godā challenged more often?
Iām not trying to start a debate post, but in my thought process it seems that morality throughout the Bible times and beyond is subjective. Nobody would be cool with me building an alter and sacrificing a lamb nowadays, we donāt put lepers outside of our city walls, canāt stone anyone, it would be immoral for a church/temple to not allow a woman to speak on her own. I could go on and on. The point is this, morality seems to be more of a cause from the human condition and things that used to be moral are now immoral and things that used to be perceived as immoral are now moral.
Why does god need to be put in the morality box?
