Question for the Abrahamic religions:
Post Body

Why isnā€™t the statement that ā€œmorality comes from Godā€ challenged more often?

Iā€™m not trying to start a debate post, but in my thought process it seems that morality throughout the Bible times and beyond is subjective. Nobody would be cool with me building an alter and sacrificing a lamb nowadays, we donā€™t put lepers outside of our city walls, canā€™t stone anyone, it would be immoral for a church/temple to not allow a woman to speak on her own. I could go on and on. The point is this, morality seems to be more of a cause from the human condition and things that used to be moral are now immoral and things that used to be perceived as immoral are now moral.

Why does god need to be put in the morality box?
