One of the ten commandments states the following:
You shall not make for yourself a carved image (graven image/idol/whatever), or *any likeness* of *anything* that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
I haven't been able to find any religious sect that claims to follow the ten commandments and also follows this particular one literally.
Are there any religions that do prohibit making things that look like other things (including two-dimensional representations like photography or video)?
