It seems like everytime I try and appease/adhere to my wife’s “rules” on Social Media posting I get a lecture anyways…

Today is my wife’s birthday (53f) and I (38m) made a nice Facebook post for the occasion. I immediately got a response via text “thank you for the kind words, I see why you didn’t tag me…”. I called her to find out what she meant and she said the image is unflattering, but not to delete it, she just wasn’t going to put it in her profile. I abhor social media in general and would rather be off of it, but it’s important to her so I do try. I just never seem to be able to satisfy her in that regard. When we try talking about it, she proceeds to tell me that she’s actually improved and her reaction would have been worse a year or two ago. That’s where it always seems to go these days and it really makes me question why I bother.. so frustrating…
