I (18) and this girl (16) were pretty good friends for about half a year. We met in high school and we hung out once after school. We pretty much just talked via text and it grew to the point we almost talked everyday and I caught feelings. Fast forward to December she told me she was seeing someone and knew I liked her. After that I took a break and we started talking again this January.
Everytime I try to do something with her outside she always bails due to plans or other shit. She says she really cares about me but at this point it just feels like this isn't going anywhere and I really want to stuff together... I see her storys on snapchat and she's hanging out with her other friends and shit but to no avail can I ever set something up. Is it time to end this? I don't really think its worth continuing this relationship, especially because I still have some feelings for her and its a bit painful to even talk to her.
On this note, If it is time to end this. Should I just stop talking, tell her why I am leaving her (I doubt she'd honestly even really care, she might just pretend but I can't say I care anymore), or should I try something else to reignite our relationship. (We had a pretty fun one to start with and she'd constantly come to me for advice, and just to talk when she was bored and had no one else)
TL;DR
I had an awesome relationship with a girl I was into, but we never really hangout yet she always seemed interested in me and we used to talk for hours. After a break we had, she doesn't seem to value me as much as I value her. Should I break it off?
