Alright I finally asked my crush out which I am proud of doing by the way. I asked her in a very awkward and nervous way since I was taking long pauses. But I told her that I wanted to ask her something and I said that I get nervous and that I am not usually like that in which she said ok. I then told her that I liked talking to her in which she replied by saying that that was good. I said that I would like to talk to her more sometime and asked her if she wanted t talk some more sometime. I did not ask her out for coffee but if all goes well next week I will try my best to suggest coffee.

She responds with maybe next week since she has a lot of homework to do and I know this since she told me that she was doing homework this evening. Perhaps she thought I wanted to chat then or perhaps she knows that I was asking her out, I believe this is so because it was easy to tell that i am interested in her romantically and more than just a classmate. We did not exchange phone numbers though so I ask you what you think it means because I believe that there is still a chance of me getting with her and her saying yes.

TL;DR My crush said maybe to me asking her if she wanted to talk more sometime since I like talking to her, what are your thoughts on this?
