Post Body

I work in a customer service cube farm. The cubes are set up in groups of four. Pam and I share a half wall and when we face our computers, we face each other. Pam has many annoying habits including: slamming her mouse, pounding her keys, sniffling, and talking extremely loudly on the phone. The worst of it however, is the farting. They are always silent, but very deadly.

Without warning a smell envelopes that can only be described as a garbage heap filled with port-a-potties, and rotting eggs being left in the hot sun for weeks and then being compacted, eaten, then expelled out of her backside. I sometimes have to hide my gagging. It is disgusting, absolutely disgusting. It lingers, and sticks in my nose. She busts out the hand sanitizer, right after, I think she thinks it covers the smell. The only thing it has actually done is I now get nauseous anytime I smell hand sanitizer. The other people in my group sometimes complain, but I get the brunt of it.

I don't know if this issue is because of a medical problem, and at this point I don't really care. If it is a condition she should make sure that she gets the proper accommodations, or she could remove herself and go to the restroom. It has happened at least once a day, but usually more, for the past year.

Does anyone have any advice on products that could keep the smell at bay, or any other suggestions? I don't want to embarrass her, but I just cannot handle another day of this.

TL;DR Coworker farts at least once a day, death smells better. I cannot deal and need help!
