I attended an event with family and friends and met someone new. This person happens to be a co-worker of my cousins wife. I'm finding out that we have some mutual acquaintances. But, for some reason this event was the first time we have crossed paths.

(I thought) We hit it off great and I'm certain there is a mutual attraction.

Although we share mutual friends, our circles are large and intersect only slightly. With that being said I'm sure we will meet again, albeit with little frequency.

We became friends through social media (instagram) and I'm having difficulty keeping myself from reaching out to her.

Normally I would wait until we met again to let her know what an impression she made on me, and ask to see/call her sometime. Also, maybe ask my cousins wife to get permission for her phone number.

I am rather traditional, but, my emotions are obviously affecting my decision making.

tl:dr: message a woman I'm interested in or wait to see her in "real life".
