TL;DR: Girlfriend of 2 years broke up with me and I need help getting over her
A month after our 2 year anniversary, she dumped me for several reasons that are reasonable and justified. No infidelity on either side, just other emotional reasons.
I spent the better part of the last few months trying to won her back somehow, because I miss her terribly and I am still very much in love with her, but today's the day I've lost hope of that happening.
That relationship has been the longest and most serious one I have ever been in and now I am lost and unsure what to do. I have been talking to my friends about it, a lot, but I don't want to annoy them too much. Not that they'll mind, it's just how I feel.
I dunno why I'm posting this on Reddit. I just want someone objective to talk to, I guess. I guess my question is, what helps you get over a break up?
