Older woman younger man issues.

So my boyfriend and I have been in a relationship for a little over three years now I’m 68. He’s 34. When we originally met, he outlined his goals with me, I mentioned to him that having kids is definitely not an option and why would you want to date someone my age and not fulfill your life with kids and someone your age. Now everything has changed. He all of a sudden wants to have a kid and is asking for us to adopt. I am in no position financially to take care of a kid. I was so confused. Do I give him what he wants or just let the relationship go? Is it worth the relationship? Am I being selfish?
