My partner (31F) and I (30M) had a disagreement over the weekend. We have been together for 1 month.

My partners birthday is coming up and she had planned a trip to Las Vegas with her friends. We somehow got talking on the subject of clubs/bars/drinking and got on the topic of how guys buy girls drinks. I asked her what her thoughts are on getting drinks from guys while being in a relationship and she said she had no problem with it. I was confused because I always assumed guys buy girls drinks to flirt/get to know them/hook up etc. She says guys do it just to be nice.

It personally doesn't sit right with me. What do most people think?
