My friend who’s wanted to date me since we were in middle school recently messaged me after she found out that I was single and we started talking more now and she invited me to a party to be her fake boyfriend after asking me like 500 questions about my relationships. I know I’m probably overthinking this but is this like a way of her to get me into going into a date with her?

tl;dr : my friend who’s always liked me asked me to be her pretend boyfriend. If I do it would she get the wrong idea or am I getting the wrong idea about this?
