Hello all! (Please let me know if this post is okay here, if not, I will willingly take it down.) Bit of a background: I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology in Ontario, Canada, but decided that I didn't want to pursue a career in mental health. I will be taking the Health Sector Regulatory Compliance postgrad program in Humber College (https://healthsciences.humber.ca/programs/health-sector-regulatory-compliance.html) next year.
I hope to get into the pharmaceutical industry but as I've looked at job postings for regulatory compliance specialists, it seems like companies mostly require applicants to have bio/chem/life science or pharma adjacent degrees. As someone who doesn't have that background, is there something I can do to bolster my application and be more employable, aside from being in the program and doing the required work placement? Are there online courses or certificates that could be valuable?
