Maybe i should have been more aware of this on my contract. But there is a ‘bring your own device’ discount for Sasktel users. So if you are on a contract with a used phone, or a new phone that you’ve paid off for the 24 months, you don’t have to pay an extra $20 dollars a month, but you have the call them and have it removed.

My phone is over 2 years old. So i called Sasktel and asked if i was still paying for it, and now my monthly bill is $20 dollars cheaper. Just like that.

You’d hope they would automatically remove the extra $20 they are charging their customers. Or use it as a reason to sell you a new device.

Anyways, just hoping this saves some of you a few bucks.
