Have you seen a map of Cairo? The pyramids are literally next door!
The size is accurate.
The pyramid is definitely touched up to look more visible tho. Look at how pixellated it is compared to the buildings. That seems to me like they heavily boosted the contrast to try to see it there. Because in person the sky and pyramid blend together a bit too much.
What happens in person is a bit unfortunate. Either it is too hazy to see it well with your own eyes, or it is too bright to see where the ground stops and the pyramid starts.
