Post Body

  • Niggle. It means an annoyance and isn't racial. Got reported to HR for this one.

  • F*g. Just means cigarette. HR again 👎

  • 'half 4'. It means 4:30. Someone went to a meeting at 2pm because they thought half 4 meant half of 4...

  • 'a week on Monday'. Means not next Monday but the Monday after. Missed a dentist appointment because of this.

  • 'You okay?' It just means hi. I'm not implying you're not OK, I'm not even asking if you're okay. Just saying hi. Lot's of weird looks for this one to the point I've phased it out.

Anyway no-one has really got super upset with me for any except for the first 2. HR really are dumb af here and so lazy.

No. Its from the veterinary practice of putting a fist inside to insert the hand to help deliver foals. That's literally where its from. Like gingerly being about putting ginger up a horse's ass.
