Honestly can't go anywhere on the internet where people aren't just immediately on the backfoot and willing to die on every dumb little hill. It's low self esteem as all hell to be completely argumentative about everything that doesn't perfectly align with your own viewpoint, and I wish that was such common knowledge that it made people see anyone being argumentative as massively regarded and not worth time or effort.
I think we've gotten to the point where the internet has bombarded us with so much information that our monkey brains have to immediately put everything in a binary box of black/white, and the idea of nuance is big and scary and everybody is too afraid to be curious and change their perspective as soon as they're introduced to new information.
I am argumentative about stupid things like the good Slav that I am
