This is my first reading of Dark Age and I cannot remember any other book before this where someone describes fighting against Darrow first hand. As I listened (audiobook) to Lysander describe in vivid detail how seeing Darrow fight was like nothing else, I got massive goosebumps. I grinned ear to ear as he basically talked about how badass Darrow is! And THEN as chapter 17 starts (Darrow POV) “We met little resistance while fighting past the storm god” (paraphrased) I laughed so hard! I am sad to see some people go but am so happy to hear all the different points of view from Lysander. Still on Chapter 17 but I had to say all this haha
