I’m just engaging in content and subreddits I care about. Big red rising fan… also no offense but this sub is really small so it’s not like hitting this sub is genius marketing. I did this cosplay out of adoration for the series.

This stuff is genuinely hurtful and gatekeeping.

I get that, it would suck if we got flooded with that. But I think we could look out for quality as quantity. Are they spamming multiple subs with the same image? Is the creator soft advertising in comments?

To bar sex workers seems harsh. And I am genuinely proud of this cosplay. There are so few cosplays on here and nobody doing pinks.

It’s one post, it’s not a slippery slope. The mods can handle it if things get out of hand. But to block me because I show cleavage? You better not read a chapter that has Atlantia or Victra in it 😂

I don’t glorify it lol. I have never and would never cheat in my life. It’s a kink, and I play a character online in a kind and engaging community. A community, Bytheway, that does not attack me as a person or scroll through my stuff and make assumptions.

I also cosplay as Jinx, from Arcane, doesn’t mean I glorify crime and murder. I’m playing characters and stories.

There are advertisements all over everywhere. Even on Reddit. Sex workers are specifically disenfranchised. We do what we can, I don’t love how some girls do it, but it’s their living. NSFW Reddit’s don’t even go mainstream, our stuff is blocked across almost all socials.

But even with all that, the assumption that this is an ad, when it doesn’t even tie into my business model is silly. I’m not baiting subscribers on an obscure subreddit. I’m using my Reddit to post my hobby. Does it also flesh me out as a person and signal to people I’m not a bot? Sure. But my objective is to engage with my favorite fandom.

I’m a couple years older than Darrow was in Golden son, why is this community so savage? Agism and anti-sex-worker when I post a non-nsfw fully thought out cosplay. I get it, people in my industry can be really ad-driven. But I stay in my lane and have been on this sub for months engaging with no issues. I finally post and this just feels like I’m getting tomatoes thrown at me for being me.

You can just comment on the content not search my profile… cosplay is a huge part of fandoms and this sub can benefit from us engaging in multiple facets. This is hands down my fave series and I’m just trying to support the author and the story
