Hello Reddit I wanted to ask a question about a tattoo I recently got done and am wondering if it's a "red flag"
I (19M) had an opportunity to get a tattoo done by an artist I had been following on Instagram for a while. Backstory: a bunch of tattoo artists in my city were having flash sales because Friday the 13th was coming up, and I was able to get a tattoo from this artist. It was an amazing experience and she was extremely kind.
But this is where I may have messed up. I know you don't really ask people on their opinions on semi-personal things, especially things you want to do on your body. However, before making the appointment, I asked and showed my friends what they thought about the design. Most agreed that it could be seen as a possible red flag, as the design might be considered a little lewd and might not look too great on me.
However I still decided to get the tattoo, and I love it, but the thought of it being a red flag still passes through my mind. (It's been almost a month since I got it done on Friday the 13th)
To sum it up my question is should I have done a double take?
