So, r/phillyr4r was banned due to no moderation. Unable to message the mods there, seems like they left, or were inactive?
I see another user has made a similar request, however, unfortunately I feel that this user is not properly qualified; They mod another local subreddit (r/Pennsylvaniar4r), that has the same issues r/Phillyr4r had (spam/scam posts/accounts). Not much has been done in that subreddit and any time I have reached out to try and help, the user has not been welcoming to the idea of adding additional mods to help, so it feels like a power trip. He is trying to be the one and only mod of many subreddits, and I don't think it's ethical to have one person make all the decisions.
I currently assist in modding a much larger subreddit, r/RandomActsOfBlowJob, that takes these sort of communities very seriously. I want to revive this subreddit (it is based in the city I live in), and establish a team of mods to keep the community safe and well maintained. I want to bring together a team that will have the community's best interests in mind, and work together.
